Catholics from across the valley stopped by St. Joseph's catholic church in Grand Junction to watch as the church unveiled its newest addition, a ten commandments monument. St. Joseph's is the first church in the state to display the commandments on their private land. Making it impossible for anyone to require the removal of the monument. St. Joseph's Pastor Edmundo Valera says he's aware of the controversy surrounding the public display but is not concerned. St. Joseph's is just one of a number of churches, synagogues, religious schools, and private property owners across the country who are placing ten commandment monuments on their land. The result of a program called Project Moses.
