Employers in the Grand Valley learned how to make their businesses more effective at Wednesday's second annual September Business Symposium at Two Rivers Convention Center.
Sponsored by the Mesa County Workforce Center the two sessions featured experts on a variety of subjects including marketing and dealing with employees.
Attendees also got an update on the Grand Valley economy and effective advertising strategies in today's media–savvy world.
The seminar is one of many events going on statewide as part of the governor's proclamation of September as Workforce Development Month.
