With tourism being one of the Grand Valley's largest economic factors, it makes sense that the National Tourism Association will hold its quarterly meeting in Grand Junction. The NTA's executive board met today at the Double Tree Hotel in preparation for the larger board meeting Saturday. The NTA is four thousand members strong in 28 countries and are the driving force behind the packaged travel industry. Among some of the top issues to be discussed this weekend is how to cope with the aftermath of one of the worst hurricane seasons on record. Each year more than three hundred motor coaches come through the Grand Valley as part of the National Tourism Association
bringing on average two point one million dollars into the local economy.
