Two people died in an early morning accident involving two motorcycles in Grand Junction. According to police the crash happened just before 1:00 a.m. in the 39–hundred block of 27 1/2 Road. Authorities report the accident involved two motorcycles each with one male rider. Both men were pronounced dead at the scene. 27 1/2 Road was closed for more than four hours while police investigated the crash, however they're not saying how it happened. Police say they have identified the victims but are not releasing that information at this time.
