Police Investigating Possible Car Surfing Incident

A teenager is fighting for his life following a suspected car surfing incident. According to Grand Junction police the teenager suffered serious bodily injuries after he fell off a moving car. The incident happened just before 6:00 p.m. Saturday in the parking lot of the Western Sizzlin' restaurant on North Avenue. According to dispatch reports a 16-year-old boy fell off a car and hit his head. He was transported to St. Mary's hospital with possible life threatening injuries. According to witnesses a male teenager who was driving the vehicle was questioned by police, no word on whether he'll face charges. Police were on the scene investigating for several hours following the incident.
