A Colorado Senator comes to a decision on a Supreme Court Chief Justice nominee. After reviewing the judiciary committee hearings and two private meetings with Judge John Roberts, Democratic Senator Ken Salazar says he will vote in favor of the nominee for chief justice. Salazar says Roberts will respect and uphold the precedents of the highest court in the land and will create a judicial system that embraces diversity. Salazar added that knowing his vote could affect americans for years to come made the decision very difficult. The Senate Judiciary voted in favor of Roberts on Thursday and the judge is considered a lock by many to become the next chief justice.
