Funeral services will be held Monday for a Marine recruiter from Grand Junction who died in a car accident earlier this week. Sergeant Justin A. Parks was killed last Wednesday the 26-year-old recruiter was traveling to meet with an applicant for the Marines. His car spun out on Highway 40 east of Hayden and slid into oncoming traffic. No one else was seriously injured in the crash. A service to celebrate his life will be held Monday at 10 a.m. at the Martin Mortuary and Crematory at 550 North Avenue in Grand Junction. The family asks that those who would like to send flowers or donations should send them to the mortuary. Parks is survived by his wife and three children.
