Colorado's Election Day A Week Earlier Than Rest Of Than Nation

Election officials in Colorado want to remind residents that voting will take place one week ahead of the rest of the country. Due to a change in the state constituition in 1992 Colorado votes on the first Tuesday in November. Most years the day will coincide with the national vote which in other states falls on the Tuesday after the first Monday in November. This year it's November 8th. Again Colorado's election day is one week earlier and will take place on November 1st.
