Glenwood Springs (AP) White River National Forest officials are calling for two firefighting crews and a helicopter to help fight a small fire northeast of Glenwood Springs. Spokeswoman Kristi Panozzo says the three–acre blaze isn't threatening any structures, but she says it's on steep terrain and could be difficult to fight.
She also says winds up to 30 miles per hour are expected this afternoon.
No evacuations have been ordered, but workers at the Glenwood Caverns Adventure Park and a restaurant at the park have reportedly left as a precaution.
