No Powerball Jackpot Winner; Colorado Ticket Wins $1 Million

Des Moines, Iowa (AP) Wednesday's Powerball jackpot will be
worth an estimated $148 million dollars, since no one matched all six numbers drawn over the weekend. Saturday's winning numbers were: 2–10–31–43–and–55. The powerball was 14, and the power play multiplier was 5.

Tickets matching all five numbers and the powerball would have won or shared the $126 million–dollar grand prize. The top prize in Colorado was $1 million dollars for someone who hit five numbers, plus the power play. Six tickets won $200,000 apiece for matching the first five numbers only.

Arizona, Delaware, New Mexico and South Carolina each sold one, and Missouri had two.

Powerball, created in 1992 and launched in Colorado in 2001, is played in 27 states, the District of Columbia and the U.S. Virgin Islands.
