Forest Service Reminds That Fees Must Be Paid

Vail (AP) Starting Friday, backcountry enthusiasts must pay a $6 to use trails atop Vail Pass. The Forest Service says skiers and snowmobilers can buy season passes to use the 50,000 acre area for $40 dollars. Children 13 and under are free.

The fees can be paid at the Vail Pass information booth or
forest service officers in Silverthorne or Minturn.
