Thousands of people shopped the Mesa Mall on Black Friday making it one of the busiest shopping days of the year for retailers. For the Target store the day marked a successful sales event. According to Target store Manager Reggie Wall. This year's annual Black Friday sale went a lot better than last year. When the store opened at six a–m there were crowds of at least a couple hundred people waiting to take advantage of the many storewide savings. Wall says the store was consistently filled with shoppers until closing time at 11 p.m.
Electronics and toys were the hot ticket items.
