Denver (AP) More winter weather is on the way. Between 6 to 12 inches of snow could fall in the north central mountains by Wednesday afternoon. The National Weather Service has issued a snow and blowing snow advisory through 6:00 p.m.
Winds of 20 to 35 miles per hour are forecast with gusts up to 55 miles per hour. The storm could wipe out tomorrow's final practice at the World Cup Men's Downhill in Beaver Creek.
Areas predicted to get the most snow include the Vail Valley, Rabbit Ears Pass and Crested Butte.
