Influenza or the flu has arrived in Mesa County. Today the Health Department reports one person has been hospitalized with the flu. It's the first confirmed case of the season in Mesa County. So far activity around colorado has been "sporadic". With the holidays approaching and the increase in travel. health officials are putting the public on alert to get vaccinated against the flu now before it's too late.
