Desert Shooting Victim's Condition Improving

Ten days ago James Finnegan was shot six times and left for dead in the desert, and the two men believed responsible are still at-large but Finnegan's condition is improving. According to investigators with the Mesa County Sheriff's Office 20–year–old James Finnegan sustained gunshot wounds to his face, shoulder, leg, wrist, and side. His condition is considered guarded and he's being held at an undisclosed location for his personal safety. The two men Finnegan names as his assailants Samuel Lincoln and Charles Pruitt are still on the run and should be considered armed and dangerous. Mesa County sheriff's officials encourage the public to dial 911 or the anonymous Crime Stoppers tip line at 241-STOP(7867) if anyone sees either of these individuals or know where they are.
