The Mesa County Health Department has released its' schedule for fall flu clinics, Monday. Unlike last year, health department officials say there should be enough vaccine for anyone who wants a vaccination. The first six clinics are for high–risk patients, includiing those over 65 and children up to 23 months old and health care professionals.
Clinics at Lincoln Park will have a drive–through vaccination area for those who are disabled. For the first time there will also be two same–day clinics at different locations in Mesa County. The simultaneous clinics will do more than ease long lines for those needing shots.
The first flu clinic this fall is scheduled for October 7th at the Mesa Mall and the Lincoln Park Barn from 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 P.M.
For additional flu clinic locations call the Mesa County Health Department at 248–6989.
