Thousands of dollars in pet medications were taken from a veterinary clinic in Grand Junction sometime this weekend.
Someone broke in through an exterior window of the Bookcliff Veterinary Hospital and tore it apart. The theives took 71 different medications worth $14,000.
The Mesa County Sherrif's Office has very little information on the suspect, but if you have any information about the burglary you are urged to call the sheriffs office. The thief is still on the loose and the sherrif's office is warning other veterinary clinics in the area.
Monday morning there was another attempted break–in of a vet clinic but the thief was scared away by an alarm on the property.
