Just after midnight Grand Junction police were alerted to a report of gun shots in the 400 block of Chipeta Avenue. According to a police report officers combed the area and found shell casings, a bullet hole in the side of a parked car, and another bullet in a building. Witnesses reported hearing five to ten shots. There were no reports of injuries and police have no suspects at this time. The case is still under investigation.
