Aspen Assistant Aviation Director Offered Walker Field Airport Position
The seven member Walker Field Airport Authority Board Friday morning decided to offer the position of Airport Manager to Rex Tippetts of Aspen. Tippets is the Assistant Aviation Director at Aspen–Pitkin County Airport.
Walker Field Airport Spokesman Charles Novinskie tells 11 News Tippets was in Aspen Friday with his family where he will discuss the offer with his family this weekend.
Tippetts is expected to notify the authority of his decision on Monday.
