Aspen Airport Aviation Director Rex Tippetts has accepted an offer from the Walker Field Airport Authority Board to be the new manager of the airport.
Tippetts was offered the job last Friday and spent the weekend at his Aspen home discussing the offer with his family.

Tippetts will begin his duties as manager of Walker Field on December 5th.
