A trail date has been set for the Garfield County teenager that allegedly shot and killed a 9-year–old boy last July. 14-year- old Eric Stoneman is being charged as an adult in connection with the murder of Taylor Demarco and will go to trial on March 20th.
Stoneman is facing nine different charges including first degree murder, manslaughter and first degree menacing with a deadly weapon. All of which are felony charges.
The Garfield County District Attorneys Office will consider the death penalty in this case.
Judge Peter Cravin will oversee the trial.
