Grand Junction, Colo. (AP)- Grand Junction police ticketed Mesa
County Sheriff Stan Hilkey for running a red light and causing an accident Friday. Hilkey said he would pay the 112–dollar fine. Hilkey's vehicle hit a car that was turning left on a green arrow at the intersection of First and Main Streets. He had been sitting at a red light. Hilkey's SUV had to be towed from the scene. The women was able to drive her car away. There were no injuries.
