Denver (AP) A state audit of the private fund–raising foundation of the University of Colorado is scheduled to be
publicly released Tuesday. The Legislative Audit Committee plans to meet with foundation and university leaders to discuss the audit's findings.
The audit was one of several probes launched in the fallout over allegations that C.U. used sex and alcohol to recruit football players. A statewide grand jury investigating the claims indicted only a former recruiting aide, who admitted soliciting a prostitute for himself and misusing a university phone.
Another state audit on two of football coach Gary Barnett's
camps is to be released December 13th.
The Internal Revenue Service also has requested documents regarding the camps.
