Boulder (AP) Seven people were treated for breathing trouble at a hospital Thursday after an unexpected chemical reaction produced fumes at a Boulder County manufacturing plant. It all started when a crew at the Lexmark International plant mixed two chemicals to treat floors and the reaction set off a plume of vapor.
150 employees had to evacuate from the laser toner plant. Nearby residents were urged to stay inside and keep their
doors and windows closed until authorities issued the all clear about five hours later.
Lexmark officials say the plant will be closed through at least tomorrow.
