The City of Grand Junction is still accepting comments for the proposed 29 Road and I–70 B Alternative Plan. Last week, dozens came out for a public hearing to ask questions and give opinions on the plan.
The city and county have identified the connection of 29 Road across the Union Pacific Railroad tracks in the eastern part of the city. The preferred alternative provides a continuous 29 Road between North Avenue and D Road and the Riverside Parkway.
Public comments on the project are still being accepted through November 17th.
