Grand Junction (AP) It'll likely be at least sometime next week before any answers come from an investigation into the sudden death of an infant in Clifton. The six–month–old child died at home early Tuesday.
Authorities say the infant's parents called 9–1–1 shortly before 2:00 a.m. to report that the child wasn't breathing, but the baby was dead by the time deputies arrived.
The Mesa County Sheriff's Office says it's awaiting toxicology reports to determine the cause of death. The infant's name and gender have not been released.
