No Powerball Jackpot Winner; 28 Colorado Tickets Win $400

Des Moines, Iowa (AP) Wednesday's Powerball jackpot will be
worth an estimated $31 million, since no one matched all six numbers drawn over the weekend. Saturday's winning numbers were: 17–37–41–48–and–55. The Powerball was 39, and the Power Play multiplier was 4.

Players matching all five numbers and the powerball would have won or shared the $25–million jackpot.

Four tickets, sold in New Mexico, Kansas, Missouri and
Pennsylvania matched the first five numbers only to win $200,000. A ticket from Connecticut also hit the Power Play to win $800,000 The top prize in Colorado was $400 for 28 ticketholders who matched other number combinations.

Powerball, created in 1992 and launched in Colorado in 2001, is played in 27 states, the District of Columbia and the U.S. Virgin Islands.
