Fort Carson, Colo. (AP)- U.S. Senator Wayne Allard says congress
has approved 70 (m) million dollars for construction spending next year at Fort Carson. That includes 25 (m) million dollars for a new barracks complex. The post is gaining an additional seven–thousand soldiers as the army rearranges its forces to be more mobile. Also included in the funding is 28 (m) million dollars for an arms training facility.
