Victims from this year's hurricane season are still struggling to make ends meet and with the holiday season approaching, a Grand Junction woman wants to make sure they're not forgotten. Susan Wiseman spent three weeks helping hurricane victims in Mississippi with the American Red Cross. On Sunday Wiseman shared images from her trip to the public. She's hoping the pictures will remind people of the devastation of the hurricanes and the need of the people in that region. Susan is leading an effort to have local families adopt a family affected by the hurricanes and provide them with reasonable gifts for the holidays. Anyone interested in adopting a family can contact susan at 241–1636.
