Des Moines, Iowa (AP) Wednesday's Powerball jackpot will be
worth an estimated $47 million, since no one matched all six numbers in the weekend drawing. Saturday's winning numbers were: 8–15–20–41–and–54. The Powerball was 22, and the Power Play multiplier was 3.
Three tickets sold in Pennsylvania, Wisconsin and West Virginia hit the first five numbers to win $200,000.
Colorado's top prize was $300 each for 20 players who matched other number combinations.
Powerball was created in 1992 and launched in Colorado in 2001. It's now played in 27 states, the District of Columbia and the U.S. Virgin Islands.
