Glenwood Springs (AP) The Bureau of Land Management is adding 16 staff in Glenwood Springs to help deal with the state's energy boom. That's a 50 percent increase in staff.
The office also get a $2 million budget increase. B.L.M. Spokesman Jamie Connell said that without the extra staff the agency would have struggled to deal with a tenfold increase in oil and gas permits over the past five years.
