Attempted Murder Suspect In Court After Being Arrested Yesterday

The most wanted fugitive on the Western Slope is now in custody and is facing a list of charges in two different counties. Sam Lincoln is suspected of shooting James Finnigan two weeks ago
as well as firing at Mesa County Sheriff's Deputies. Today, Lincoln is behind bars and facing charges. Lincoln faces a laundry list of charges in both Garfield and Mesa Counties
and if he is found guilty for any or all of them he will be put away for a very long time. Lincoln will be back in court in Garfield County next Wednesday. Mesa County Sheriff's will bring him back to Grand junction for the formal hearing of his charges
but as of now a court date has not been set.
