Colorado's Top Health Official Resigns
Denver (AP)- Colorado's top health official resigned Thursday
after three years on the job to join a Denver law firm. Douglas Benevento will his position as director of the
Department of Public Health and Environment at the end of the
month. He says he's taken a job with Greenberg Traurig LLP. Governor owens says he doesn't have a replacement in mind but
says the health department is prepared for any potential health
crises.
