Store Owners Hope Public Can Solve Break-in

The owners of a store in Fruita hope the public can help catch whoever broke into their business this morning and made away with the gift of music.

About 6-30 this morning people at a nearby convenience store heard glass breaking and called the police. When officers arrived they found a window had been smashed at the Muse, which is located on Circle Park in the downtown area of the city.
Taken from the store were two guitars worth abut 500 dollars. Store owner James Williams says the theft offered a clue as to who could be responsible, as one of the guitars was an acrylic-bodied guitar with a lot of flash but little value.

The Muse opened about seven months ago and sells music-themed clothing and other items,as well as musical instruments.
Store owner James Williams hopes someone saw the break in or someone with a new guitar and will call the Fruita Police Department with information.
