Naked Driver Arrested In Officer Involved Collision

A man is arrested last night after allegedly trying to hit a police officer with his car then running into a police vehicle. Police officers were called to 28 and a Quarter and Patterson Roads on a report of a suspicious vehicle. 44-year-old Eric Martin was driving when officers tried to contact him. In an effort to escape Martin allegedly drove at an officer, missed, then rammed another officer's car. Colorado State Patrol later stopped Martin that's when police say the man backed into the State Patrol vehicle. Martin was only removed from his vehicle after being tased and it was then that officers realized that Martin was also not wearing any clothes. Martin was arrested and taken to the Mesa County jail on suspicion of driving under the influence of drugs. No officers were hurt in the incident.
