Police Looking For Suspects In Trailer Park Shooting

A random shooting near North Avenue has Grand Junction police searching for suspects. The shooting happened around 11 a.m. Saturday at a trailer park near 28 and three–quarters road in Grand Junction. According to police a male driving his vehicle through Jane's Trailer Park came under fire when a male and female flagged down his car then tried to enter the vehicle. One suspect reportedly pulled a handgun out of a dark–colored duffel bag and fired several shots at the car. The victim fled the scene uninjured to a safe location and contacted authorities. The suspects fled on foot. The man is described as a white, in his mid 20s about six feet tall. He has dark hair and facial hair. He was wearing a dark jacket with a hood and jeans and is also described to have scars on his face and sunken cheeks. The female suspect is described as hispanic in her late teens with long brown hair. She is about five feet six inches tall, weighing 120 pounds and was wearing a cream colored fleece jacket with leopard spots. The grand junction police department asks anyone with information about either suspect to call 242–6707.
