Grand Junction, Colo. (AP)- Ute water, one of four providers in
the Grand Junction area, is raising rates and water tap fees ten
percent. Officials of the utility said the increases are needed to offset the cost of operations and expansion plans. It's the first rate hike since March 2003 for Ute customers.
