Well-known Country Artist Killed In Car Crash

Basalt, Colo. (AP)- The death of a Basalt–area woman in an auto
accident has left Roaring Fork Valley musicians mourning. 45-year–old Tracy McLain died when her car plunged into the Frying Pan River on Friday. State Trooper Brian Cook said it
wasn't clear whether she died of head injuries or drowned. McLain was a popular country singer and guitarist in the Aspen area.
