Grand Junction police are investigating a report of a carjacking and kidnapping. Police are not disclosing too many details about the case however, they say the validity of the report is being examined. The alleged car jacking and kidnapping began on 28 Road near Cortland Avenue. The victim a Grand Junction woman in her early 20's told police she was blindfolded and held at gunpoint. She adds that the two male suspects told her if she didn't cooperate they would kill her. The suspects, one is described as a 20 year old white male wearing a blue hat, large sunglasses, and a down jacket dumped the victim in an alley at 1715 North 19th Street. The suspects then allegedly fled in the woman's maroon Kia Spectra. The vehicle has not been recovered. Police are still looking into the report and have not specified if the incident has any merit.
