He's hoping to be the newest state representative for Grand Junction next year. Dan Wilkenson makes the announcement today before supporters at Two Rivers Convention center in downtown Grand Junction. He says 30 years of working with politicians will give him an edge in Denver. Wilkenson says even though Referendum C passed there are still some concerns about the state constitution and how tabor operates. He also says he wants to find ways to get parents more involved in education.
