A three day search and rescue has ended, and the body of a missing man has been recovered. Both the Grand Junction Police Department and the Mesa County Sheriff's Office have been spending the last few days looking for a missing Grand Junction man. Around 9:30 this morning, a family member was the one to find his body. Fifty year-old Paul Cleeremans was reported missing Tuesday morning by an out of state relative. Grand Junction Police say that the relative came from out of town to visit and could not find Cleeremans. Cleeremans lives near C ½ road and 28 road, and in his back yard there is a cliff that drops off into the Colorado River. That is where police and sheriff's deputies began their search. The body was found in the Colorado River North of his home. Now police have the task of filling in the blanks as to what happened to cause the death of Paul Cleeremans. The coroner will perform an autopsy on Cleermans this evening, and only then will police be able to determine the cause of death.
