The Botanical Gardens of Grand Junction is hoping to brighten the dreary days of January with its Bonsai tree display.
For the whole month the Western Colorado Bonsai Society is presenting its collection of Bonsai–trained tropical plants.
Bonsai plants often simulate natural looks such as being windswept or struck by lightning. The styles are created by careful pruning, wiring or other techniques. The Botanical Gardens is open Tuesday through Sunday from 10 AM to 4:30 PM.
