27 percent of kids in the country have weight problems. St. Mary's Hospital in Grand Junction has set up a course to help children keep off any excess pounds and maintain a healthy weight. The "Shapedown" program will teach young people ages 6 to 18 ways to develop patterns to maintain a lifestyle free of dieting or weight concerns. The next shapedown course starts on January 16th. For information on registration call Sandy Paulson at St. Mary's Life Center at 255?7922.
