A fire in Grand Junction early Friday morning caused an estimated $20,000 dollars in damages to a home.
Heavy smoke was coming form the eaves of the home on Bookcliff Avenue when Grand Junction firefighters arrived just after 7 AM.
The fire was quickly knocked down by the 13 firefighers,
and there were no injuries to the residents or fire department personnel.
The house itself suffered estimated $15,000 dollars in damages and another $5,000 to its' contents. Investigators continue to work at determining the origin of the blaze.
