Several Mesa County residents have come together in efforts to bring a YMCA to the Grand Valley.
Although talks with the organization are purely in their infancy stage,
Kids World Gymnastics Director Kim Miller says she and several others have been in contact with YMCA representatives and that several key leaders in Mesa County have backed the idea.
Miller says having an organization like the "Y" in Mesa County would be a great community asset and not just for kids.
