Officials credit excellent crime scene investigation for the arrest of a sexual assault suspect. The Mesa County Sheriff's Department was able to link DNA evidence to solve a year old crime. Rosten Lee Clark is being held on a million dollar bond for the alleged sexual assault on a Grand Junction woman from January of last year. Samples collected at the scene provided a DNA profile, which was entered into the combined DNA index system. On December 30th, investigators learned that Clark was a match. Wednesday a warrant was issued and arrest was made. Clark is currently at the Arkansas Valley Correctional facility in La Junta, Colorado.
