The Grand Valley saw a five per cent increase in building permits in the last quarter of 2005 according to information released today iun Mesa County's quartterly report.

Mesa County Public Relations Director Jessica Peterson says the quarterly reports offer a valuable service to residents, as many are unable to attend Mesa County Commissioner meetings every week.
