Two high school students from the Grand Valley are injured after being struck by a car near Central High School.
According to the Grand Junction Police Department, the two female juveniles ran through a red light going northbound on 311/2 Rd. and were struck by a 70-year-old man driving eastbound on I-70B.
The females were taken to Saint Mary's Hospital with undisclosed injuries. Accident investigators will be back on the scene Thursday to continue the investigation and at this time the two females have not been issued traffic citations.
