Montrose County has filed a temporary restraining order against JetAway Aviation after allegations continued that planes were being fueled there. According to published reports the legal action was prompted Friday afternoon. JetAway was already forbidden to provide fuel to planes at montrose regional airport by its contract with the county. The contract allows JetAway to store and manufacture airplanes but not conduct any fixed–based operator activity such as fueling or de–icing. Arguments whether the restraining order should be extended are set to be heard in district court on Wednesday.
