There will not be a federal investigation into two explosions at a natural gas compressor station in De Beque that injured one man yesterday. Fire officials are still investigating the explosions, but at this point the incident is being called an accident. Investigators believe the explosion happened as the result of a worker changing spark plugs in the compressor. The injured man was taken to Saint Mary's Hospital with second and third degree burns, however, the injuries are not believed to be serious.
